Toronto police are searching for a driver who allegedly left the scene where a pedestrian was struck overnight in North York. FTRPI Finch Ave W and Sentinel Rd, reports that a pedestrian has been struck and the vehicle has fled. Allyson Douglas-Cook told CBC News police were called to the Finch Avenue West and Sentinel Road around 2:45 a.m. Saturday after reports that a pedestrian was struck at a crosswalk. Police do not have a description of the vehicle or the driver and are appealing to anyone who may have seen the incident for information. A man in his twenties was rushed to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, she said.
