Police hunt Tauranga knicker nickerPolice are appealing for residents in and around the Solomon St area to report any suspicious behaviour after a man was discovered lurking at a residence in the early hours of January 29. Women's underwear is being nicked off the clothes lines of Tauranga homes. And police believe a man who was disturbed at an address in the suburb of Brookfield on Sunday could be involved. "Inquiries also indicate that there have been incidents of women's underwear being taken from clothes lines in the area in recent months," Detective Shaun Skedgwell of Tauranga police said. "Police are appealing to the public to report any sightings of males fitting the above description, acting suspiciously in the area."
