Police in Trans Nzoia West Sub-County are piecing together leads to apprehend perpetrators of a gruesome murder of a 25-year-old woman in Bondeni estate, Kitale. The deceased identified as Elizabeth Wanyonyi was allegedly raped, before being killed and the body dumped by the roadside. Detectives visited the scene and collected evidence which they say will help them narrow down culprits of the heinous act. Area assistant chief Jackline Sitoyi said the body was collected from the roadside at 6am on Wednesday.
