Mahfuz, who the police say supplied the bombs used in the 2016 attack, was arrested on Saturday from the northern district of Chapainawaganj with three other suspected militants. Police have been looking for Mahfuz since the attack on the Holey Artisan Bakery and O' Kitchen restaurant in July last year. Investigators say Mahfuz supplied the grenades. Police had said they needed to catch five suspects, including Mahfuz, to complete their investigation. Mahfuz, who hails from the western district of Kushtia, used to go by the aliases Shahadat, Rimon, according to police.
