A seriously injured 12-year-old girl was found in the same bedroom as a woman allegedly murdered in an upmarket Wellington suburb. The girl, who has since undergone surgery, was found along with the body of a 52-year-old woman on Lemnos Ave, Karori, on Friday afternoon. A 30-year-old man, who has name suppression, faced a charge of murder in Wellington District Court on Saturday morning. The accused was known but not related to the two victims, and will likely be charged with more serious violent offences.
