Umar Muhammed, LafiaThe Nasarawa State Police Command has deployed about 4,452 of its personnel to provide security during the forthcoming general elections in the state. The state Police Commissioner, Mr Bola Longe, said this at a press briefing in Lafia, the state capital, on Tuesday. He explained that the police personnel would be complemented by operatives of sister security agencies such as the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigeria Prisons Service, Federal Road Safety Corps, National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency and the Nigeria Customs Service.
