A police constable from Chennai killed a 22-year-old man who allegedly cheated him by posing as a woman on Facebook. S Ayyanar, a teaching student, had created a woman's fake profile on Facebook, where he started an online relationship with Kumar . However, while on a leave, Kumar realised that he was being cheated by S Ayyanar Kumar after he refused to meet him even after staying in the nearby area. A report said that a constable hatched a plan to kill S Ayyanar Kumar when his friends came to visit him in hospital. Ennore police inspector Sathyan said, "Kumar has been attached to the law and order wing here since April 2016."
