© Provided by Edmonton Journal Edmonton police have charged a man with second-degree murder in relation to a July 2020 homicide. Police have arrested and charged a man in relation to a homicide on the southwest edge of Edmonton nearly two years ago. At about 2:20 a.m. on July 17, 2020, officers responded to report of an assault at a rural home near 184 Street and 8A Avenue SW, where a social gathering was taking place. Following an autopsy on July 22, 2020, the Edmonton medical examiner determined Osman’s death was a homicide caused by a gunshot wound. Police have charged 20-year-old Lam Bithou, who turned himself in Tuesday, with one count of second-degree murder in relation to Osman’s death, the Edmonton Police Service said in a Wednesday news release.
