The police officers further recovered fake care registration number plates, chassis number stickers, ignition systems, a check book, dismantled number plates, chassis plates and sale agreements. By press time, police and officials from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) were investigating whether the number plates corroborated the car chassis numbers. So daring is the gang that it has reportedly stolen vehicles from a police yard and highly guarded estates within Eldoret, Kitale, Kericho, Bomet, Narok and Nakuru.
