He said investigators were still not sure whether two security officers with the company were involved in the heist. The theft took place at 10pm outside the Central West Gate shopping mall in Nonthaburi’s Bang Yai district. The men told police that when they returned to the truck, they found the door open although they had locked it. They also reported that two bags each containing Bt3 million had disappeared but 11 other bags were still in the truck. Suwat said footage from security cameras in the area showed a pickup driving near the armoured vehicle several times but did not reveal how the thieves opened the truck’s door.
