From Tribune staff reportsBIRMINGHAM — Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a 12-year-old runaway. Birmingham police said Gabriel Surrett is 5 feet tall and weighs 80 lbs. Surrett was wearing black shorts, black crocs, and a pink shirt with a flower design. He was last seen on Saturday in the 4300 Block of 49th Court North, at around 6:45 p.m. If you see Surrett or have any information on his whereabouts, please call the Birmingham police at 205-254-7777.
