Victim's family approa­ched Women Protec­tion Cell to lodge compla­int online­KARACHI : Authorities on Thursday arrested two suspects including a man for allegedly torturing his wife after the incident was reported through social media. The victim’s family, based in Malaysia, approached the Women Protection Cell to report the matter online. “No help can be extended to the victim since none of her family members resides in Karachi,” the complaint read. On March 9, police claimed to have arrested a suspect, who tortured his wife to death, in Faisalabad.
