Ogbonnaya Ikokwu, UmuahiaThe Abia State chapter of the All Progressives Grand Alliance has alleged that Police arrested one Gaius with already prepared result sheets showing that the state’s chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party won in the now postponed Saturday February 16 elections. The state chairman of APGA, Rev. Augustine Ehiemere, made the allegation in a statement on Sunday in Umuahia, Abia State capital, at the governorship campaign office of Dr. Alex Otti. Also, the Abia Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ene Okon, said in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria that the Command had yet to receive such a report from APGA or any other party in the state.
