KARACHI: Police arrested two robbers in injured condition during an alleged encounter in the Korangi area of the city on Monday. According to police sources, during a search operation near Awami Colony, a police team signalled two bikers identified as Arif and Shahzaib, to stop but they opened fire on the police instead. During the shootout, the robbers received bullet injuries. Police arrested them in injured condition and recovered weapons, bullets, mobile phones and a motorbike from their possession. They were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for treatment.
