Police have arrested one of three suspects in the brutal beating of a 29-year-old man with autism at a bus station near Square One shopping centre in Mississauga last week. The victim was seen in a surveillance video sitting on the bottom step of a staircase at the bus station on the evening of March 16 when three men came down the stairs behind him. Suddenly, seemingly without warning, the suspects started punching and kicking the man with autism for roughly six seconds — leaving him with a bleeding head — before walking away. The man with autism was taken to hospital with serious injuries and later released. Parmvir Singh Chahil, a 21-year-old man, was to appear in Brampton court Friday, charged with one count of aggravated assault.
