According to her, the suspect had been operating in Ashalaja in the Greater Accra Region, in the Ashanti Region, Bekwai, and Kyebi in the Eastern Region, while posing as a military officer. “The suspect was found dressed in full military camouflage attire at the time of arrest,” she stated. Preliminary investigations suggest that the suspect used the military impersonation to facilitate criminal activities and intimidate members of the public. The suspect remains in police custody as investigations continue to identify accomplices and the sources of the weapons.
