KARACHI: Police arrested a robber in injured condition after an alleged encounter in the Malir area of the metropolis in the wee hours of Monday. The accused opened fire on the police team which was retaliated by the police. During the shootout, the robber, Zulfiqar sustained bullet injuries. Police arrested him in injured condition and recovered a TT pistol with rounds, and four mobile phones from his possession. The arrested robber was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for treatment.
