Adelani Adepegba, AbujaThe police have arrested Desmond Okotubo, the prime suspect in the January 1 killings in Omoku, Rivers State. At least 15 persons were killed in Omoku, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni local government area of Rivers State, as they were returning from church on New Year day. Moshood also disclosed that six members of the gang were killed during a gun duel that lasted hours. “He was trailed to Mpape in Abuja where he was arrested after serious resistance on the January 9. Okotubo, a native of Egbema, confessed to be one of the masterminds of the gang and actively participated in the killing of innocent people in Omoku, Rivers State, on New Year day.”(Visited 3,363 times, 521 visits today)
