The latest arrestee, Iftekhar Uddin Rana, 21, is one of the suspected plotters of the fatal arson attack on Nusrat, Additional Superintendent of Police Md Moin Uddin told bdnews24.com. The law enforcers arrested Rana in Rangamati town’s T&T Residential Area early on Saturday morning, the Police Bureau of Investigation official said. Rana from Charganesh in Feni’s Sonagazi fled after the attack on Nusrat on Apr 6. Assailants tricked her onto the rooftop when the Alim candidate went to the madrasa on that day to sit for exams. PBI’s Moinuddin said Rana was sent to Feni earlier on Saturday and would be produced in the court on Sunday.
