A 60-year-old woman was stabbed multiple times Wednesday afternoon at her home near Derry Rd. Peel Region police say she managed to escape in a vehicle and was eventually transported to a trauma centre in life-threatening condition. Police have found a Hamilton man wanted for attempted murder following a stabbing at a Mississauga home . Norman Tim Cormier, a 59-year-old from Hamilton, was arrested on an outstanding warrant Thursday night, with assistance from Hamilton police. Cormier, who police say is related to the victim, was charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault.
