Police arrest man after Nelson shop window damagedMARION VAN DIJK/FAIRFAX NZ Nelson police arrest man after a town centre shop window was damaged. Nelson police arrested a 31-year-old man after he allegedly threw a beer bottle at a Trafalgar St building, damaging a Nelson shop window. Nelson police were called to reports the shop's window had been smashed. A National Police Media Centre spokesperson said the officers who arrived at the scene found the window had not been completely destroyed but was damaged. The man was arrested a short time later and then released with a pre-charge warning for disorderly behaviour.
