Police arrest driver for allegedly killing tout in Homa Bay TownA matatu tout was crushed to death by a speeding bus in Homa Bay Town after he jumped from another Passenger Service Vehicle moving on the opposite direction. Police said they had arrested the Acacia bus driver following the Monday evening incident. The driver identified as Asman Juma who drives a bus belonging to Acacia Bus Company was arrested for allegedly hitting the tout with the bus at Sofia Estate, along Homa Bay- Rongo road. Omondi had boarded the Nissan matatu from Homa Bay bus terminus to bargain for his commission commonly known as ’Pocho" with the matatu conductor. He said the bus driver will be taken to court upon completion of the investigations.
