The Anambra State Police Command has said a National Youths Service Corps member and whistleblower, Nnamdi Emeh, serving in the state command, stole N47m from a suspect’s account. He disclosed that some other criminal suspects had been recently arrested and were in custody. Emeh was working as an IT consultant for the Anambra State Police Command and was attached to the Rapid Response Squad, Awkuzu. He had through an online platform in January revealed alleged evidence of atrocities ranging from organ harvesting and extra-judicial killings allegedly committed by some officers of the state command. “The suspect, Nnamdi Emeh, fled the country to Benin Republic before he was arrested by Interpol operatives.
