Two people including a suspected criminal have been killed in an alleged gunfight with the police in Khulna city. Khulna Sadar police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Mizanur Rahman said the incident took place early Monday. According to the given information, a police team went to the city’s railway Ghat area to recover the weapons, OC Mizanur said. The OC also said: “Sensing our presence Guddu’s cohorts open fired on us, in retaliation we fired back triggering a gunfight. The police have also recovered a locally-made gun and four sharp weapons from the scene, Mizanur said.
