GEORGE TOWN: Penang police have refuted allegations that another shooting incident occurred Thursday in the same area a businesswoman was shot dead in Taman Pekaka 1, Glugor here on Tuesday. Penang CID chief SAC Zainol Samah (pic) said there was no shooting case in the state Thursday and any news on it spreading via Facebook and WhatsApp was untrue. He said there was a team of policemen at the scene conducting the investigation into the killing of the 49-year-old businesswoman. "We have to inspect the incident scene to complete the investigations, so do not make any speculations," he said. SAC Zainol said the case was still under investigation and any developments would be announced through the media.
