The slain gunman police described as the “sole aggressor” in the mass shooting at a Las Vegas concert has been identified as Stephen Craig Paddock, 64, of nearby Mesquite. A SWAT team blew open the entry to the 32nd-floor room of the hotel with an explosive and found Paddock dead, police said. Sheriff Joe Lombardo of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said “numerous firearms” were found in the room. We can’t understand what happened.”The brother also told NBC News that Stephen Paddock was retired and was “just a guy” who frequented the hotels, gambled and attended shows. “Not an avid gun guy at all,” the brother told “CBS This Morning.”
