The coroner has identified the Brampton senior citizen who was found dead in a burning car on the side of McLaughlin Rd. just north of Brampton on the Civic Holiday long weekend. Caledon OPP have identified the victim as Hari Ram, 66, but are saying little else about what may have happened to him. Ram’s body was found in the burning 2003 Toyota Corolla on the shoulder of McLaughlin Rd., just north of Mayfield Rd., around 3:45 a.m. on Sunday. The vehicle was found on the east shoulder of McLaughlin, police said.
