A 23-year-old man is dead after he was pulled from an SUV that crashed in an Etobicoke property early Monday morning and found to have been fatally shot. Investigators say they are searching for two men seen running from the Kiping Avenue and Dixon Road area shortly before 1 a.m. Emergency crews found the vehicle just a few blocks from where police say they believe the shooting happened. Omer was pulled from the vehicle and taken to hospital, but he was pronounced dead on arrival, homicide Det. The gunshots could be heard near the high-rise buildings at Kipling and Dixon, police say.
