The Federal Capital Territory Police Command on Thursday debunked reports alleging security threats in Kuje Area Council, describing the claims as false and misleading. “The FCT Police Command is aware of recent publications circulating across online platforms alleging security threats within Kuje Area of the FCT. “While robust deployments and routine patrols are ongoing within the area as a proactive measure to ensure public safety, they should not be misunderstood as indicators of possible threats,” it stated. It added that the Commissioner of Police, FCT, CP Ahmed Sanusi, had deployed personnel across the communities to forestall any possible security breach and reassure residents. The command urged residents to remain security conscious and report suspicious activities through its emergency lines: 08032003913 and 08061581938.
