The San Diego Union-Tribune is reporting that police said the shooting occurred late Thursday night. The shooting comes with law officers around the country on alert following the killing of officers in Dallas and Baton Rouge, Louisiana, this month. The officers have been taken to a hospital, but their condition was not released. There was no immediate word on what touched of the violence, which occurred around 11 p.m. PDT in the southeastern part of town.
