Thai tennis chief Kitsombat Euammongkol reasoned that Surachet who is also the acting Commander for the Patrol and Special Operation Division of the Police Bureau was the right man for this position due to his experience in the sport as a former player. Surachet will supervise the World Junior Championships Qualifiers team in March, the Junior Davis Cup and Junior Fed Cup teams in March , the Fed Cup team in Astana and the Davis Cup team in Kuwait, both events due in February 2017.
