Pokémon toy factory to be built in ClarkMANILA, Philippines — A Japanese firm is planning to invest $200 million to manufacture Pokémon toys in the Clark Freeport Zone. Clark Development Corp. (CDC) president and CEO Agnes Devanadera told reporters yesterday that a Japanese firm is looking to invest around $200 million for a facility in Clark to manufacture Pokémon plushies or soft, stuffed toys. The manufacturing project forms part of over 30 key investment projects and expansions in the Clark Freeport Zone in the pipeline. The project is expected to support tourism, leisure and long-term investment within the Clark Freeport Zone. Clark Freeport Zone is designed as an integrated hub for aviation, industry, tourism and logistics,At present, Clark Freeport Zone hosts 1,256 registered locators and 151,540 employees.
