Credit: NianticIt's Holiday time in Pokémon GO, and there are some new Pokémon around to celebrate it. Already we've gotten three separate shipments of Gen 3 Pokémon, and there will be at least one more drop before the generation is complete. We're not getting any universal bonuses for this event, and Niantic seems to be shifting away from those as its go-to special celebration. This is mitigated by the appearance of new creatures, but in the past those creatures have stuck around after the end of the event. There's another major question mark with this event: the art, which you can see above, involves Kyogre, the Legendary mascot of Pokémon Sapphire and a match for Groudon.
