Credit: NianticIt's been rumored since before the game even came out, and now, a year into release and days before Pokémon GO Fest in Chicago, Niantic has finally confirmed that Legendary Pokémon are indeed coming to Pokémon GO, and soon. If Trainers and their team are able to successfully defeat a Legendary Raid Boss, they’ll have the opportunity to catch a Legendary Pokémon of their own! Legendary Pokémon will only become available if players attending Pokémon GO Fest manage to defeat the Pokémon that show up there on July 22. There is one big question mark about Legendary Raids, however. A newly released trailer confirms earlier rumors by showing players receiving a special invitation for a Legendary Raid.
