Paul Pogba believes the best way to combat racial abuse during games is to play well and smile. “If they’re racist or ignorant, I don’t know, or they just don’t want you to perform well. You play and try to score for your team, try to win and that’s it. “I think a good game will be (seen as) a normal game, a top game will be a good game.” Pogba insists he will not change his natural demeanour. It’s always a problem when we don’t win, or we lose, or if I have a bad performance.
