Long-standing mechanical and electrical contractor L&D Construction South West Ltd has collapsed into compulsory liquidation owing huge sums in unpaid taxes and to creditors. But in 2024, leading UK plumbing and heating merchant Wolseley UK Ltd petitioned for L&D Construction South West Ltd to be wound up. On February 3, 2025, directors of L&D Construction South West Ltd resolved to wind up the company voluntarily, and appointed liquidators. L&D Construction South West Ltd should have submitted accounts by the end of 2024 but they are overdue.
