Barnsley maintained their automatic promotion push with a clinical 3-0 League One win at relegation-haunted Plymouth. Striker Cauley Woodrow smashed Barnsley's 15th-minute opener after chesting down right back Jordan Williams' brilliant cross-field ball to the left. Woodrow took the ball in his stride and volleyed into the far corner past diving Kyle Letheren. Barnsley doubled their lead in the 21st minute when Jacob Brown fired home after latching on to a Dani Pinillos cross into the box. Argyle's best chances fell to Yann Songo'o, whose 16th-minute shot was deflected just around the post.
