In a first, Plus One classes will begin on June 3, the school reopening day, this year. Every year, Plus One classes start in the second half of June. However, with the CBSE and ICSE results coming out earlier than usual, the Plus One allotment process will get under way sooner and classes will begin on the first day of the academic session as in the case of students in other classes. This will ensure that Plus One students who do not get adequate working days owing to delayed start of classes benefit from the 203 working days stipulated in the academic calendar for the 2019-20 academic year. There are 3,61,763 Plus One seats available in the State in government, aided, and unaided categories.
