[Lilian Chepkoech, Standard]A woman has been charged over an alleged plot to kill her son-in-law. Saphina Amudede was accused of conspiring with a security guard to allegedly eliminate her son-in-law in a row over a rented house. The court heard that a police officer posed as the hitman and nabbed the woman. The suspect, the prosecution said had sent the said hitman a photo of the son-in-law and instructions on how to carry out the killing. The court was told that the suspect sent the ‘hitman’ Sh16,000 as a down payment and was to complete the balance after the work was done.
