The median property value in Shirley was $480,000 last week, compared to $440,000 five years ago. Canterbury-wide the median property value on February 25 was $535,000, an increase of $110,000 over the last five years, with the average price rising 13.7 per cent since Covid-19 took hold in March, 2020.
