KUALA LUMPUR: A cosmetics entrepreneur was fined RM5,000 in default of six months’ jail for blackmailing his ex-girlfriend by threatening to distribute her nude pictures. Wan Hairuzrizal Wan Habib, 38, pleaded guilty to the offence in front of Magistrate Firdaus Sadina Ali at the Ampang magistrate’s court today. “Please stop taking pictures of my handsome face,” he was heard saying while leaving the court, escorted by policemen. According to the facts of the case, Hairuzrizal, who is a divorcee, had contacted his ex-girlfriend, who is a mother of four, via WhatsApp by sending several nude pictures of her. He demanded that the woman reply his messages and threatened to distribute the pictures if she refused.
