But many members of Tuam 73 Bridge Club who gather every Wednesday night attest that they simply can’t get enough of it! Card playing is at the heart of many communities around the county and has been a much-loved hobby and social outing for hundreds of people. Lena Lowry has been playing for some 30 years and smiles as she recalls her first big win just eight months after she started. She couldn’t say exactly when she took up playing Bridge but that she has been with the club for about 45 years or so now…
