The Plateau Government has rescheduled its programmes for the celebration of Democracy Day in the state, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports. Manjang said the activities had been affected with the resumption of the state lockdown routine of every Monday to Wednesday. NAN recalls that the state government had in a statement on Friday, scheduled activities for the democracy day celebration from June 5 to 12. “In order to abide by the existing lockdown order, the time table for the inspection and commissioning of projects has now been adjusted to when the lockdown is relaxed within the week. “While this is being done, citizens are advised to continue to abide by the existing order as security agents will continue to enforce compliance,” the commissioner said.
