KUALA LUMPUR (April 11): Most plantation counters felt the adverse impact today as Malaysia's palm oil stocks and production grew higher in March, and expectations stocks and production will grow further in April. IOI Corp Bhd fell 9 sen or 2% to RM4.50, with 2.31 million shares changing hands. Sime Darby Bhd declined 6 sen or 0.6% to RM9.28, with 1.68 million shares traded. Malaysia's palm oil stocks grew 6.5% month-on-month (m-o-m) to 1.56 million tonnes as at end-March. Crude palm oil production rose 16% m-o-m in March.
