Diss leaders have lent their support for plans to boost leisure facilities in the town – although a heritage group still believes improvements could be made. At its full meeting last Wednesday, Diss Town Council recommended approval for plans for a new leisure and community centre on the former John Grose site in Park Road. The newest look for Diss leisure centre. “This will not add cost and time because there is no redesign of the building.”During a consultation on the leisure centre plans, more than 400 people gave their thoughts. The leisure centre will contain a range of facilities, including a fitness suite, soft play area, a café and community space.
