Councillors have unanimously approved a development for 21 flats and retail units which will ‘enhance’ Windsor Road in Slough – with another scheme due to come forward soon. Stevco Ltd put forward an application to get permission from the council for the redevelopment of a vacant site at 12-20 Windsor Road. Matthew Maier, the architect of the development proposed at 22-28 Windsor Road, told councillors the plans for this adjacent site will be submitted in the coming weeks. The revised scheme at 12-20 Windsor Road will offer a mix of 11 one-bed flats, nine two-bed apartments and one three-bed unit. Ultimately, councillors unanimously backed the plans for the redevelopment.
