A small plane crashed at Tokoroa Airfield about 12.30pm on Thursday. Tokoroa Airfield has been closed after a plane crash which injured two people. The small plane crashed at 12.24pm on Thursday and two people have been injured. A Saint John spokesperson confirmed one person treated at the scene was in a serious condition and the other person was moderate before they were transported to Waikato Hospital. Police were also called to the scene and closed the road to the airfield.
