The official launch of Te Ara Whakamua o Whaitara's written plan was held on Thursday at the Knox Community Church. While the vision to turn Waitara into the best community in the country was ambitious, it was a goal Annette White, chairwoman of the leadership group, believed was completely achievable. This is the date when the agreement between Te Ara Whakamua o Whaitara and the DIA expired.
