NEW DELHI: The question on Quora read: "Does India actually need a bullet train?" Of the 83 answers that the post received was one from the union minister for railways and coal Piyush Goyal himself.In the long answer accompanied by infographics featuring pictures of Prime Minister Narendra Modi , Goyal said that bullet trains will enhance transportation capabilities, job growth, and development in India. As of 7pm on Tuesday, the minister's answer had over 12,000 "upvotes" which are one-click virtual endorsements by Quora users. But today, they are the trains that everyone wishes to travel in," the minister said in his answer posted Monday. Although he posted the question on September 15, the minister answered it this Monday.Since August, Goyal has answered five questions on Quora.
