A pit bull mix has finally found a home after spending more than 500 days in a New York animal shelter. The shelter shared an adorable video of Bonita bounding out of the SPCA to head home with her new owner just in time for the holidays. A pit bull mix named Bonita was adopted Thursday from the Niagra County SPCA by local man Ray Kinz. And while the SPCA staff may be missing their favorite dog, it appears they're already far from the pooch's mind as she luxuriates in her new surrounds. A third upload shared to Instagram shows Bonita sprawled out on a rug in front of the fire - appearing as if she already has the run of the house.
